We initially went to this park to kayak. It was OK for a quick trip but it would be better to start you kayaking up stream somewhere else. The bridge, pathways and facilities were all very nice.

Went for a walk, took some photos, had a picnic! Enjoyed the swings, the bridge, and the pathways. Picnic tables are a little rough but still very useable.

If you wish to walk in a beautiful, peaceful setting you should go here. The walking trail has a bridge over the Etowah that connects with the park on the other side. Take your lunch (or dinner) and simply chill out.

My understanding is this park closes at dark. They close the road and lock the gate.
