Mark Of The Potter is the oldest craft shop in the same location in Georgia. For 44 years now we have endeavored to provide the best functional stoneware by our own potters and specially selected potters from around the southeast and U.S.A. We are located on the Scenic 197 Moonshine Highway 10 miles north of Clarkesville, Georgia. Come visit us and then write a review. We appreciate hearing what our customers like and what we could do to improve our shop.

We enjoyed our visit to MOP with a group of people. I love the building, the porch where we fed the trout, a potter gave us a demonstration and we all shopped thru the store. A neat place and helpful employees!

I have been going to Mark of the Potter for 40 years. I even order online from Florida. The pieces I got back then are just as nice today. My husband takes pictures while I shop.

From the outside it does not look like it has much to offer. However, once you are in what a delightful surprise of beautiful and quality made pottery items. So glad we stopped!

This shop truly showcases local craftspeople. You won't find anything "made in China" here. And the scenery is beautiful.
