Black Rock State Park

The views were very good at the top. The park has several trails you could enjoy if you like to hike. Camping is also available if you have the time.

The scenery is absolutely breathtaking here in Chattahoochee National Forest/Park. I traveled here in May 2016 and again in September 2016. I look forward to my next visit in May 2017. - Michigan lady who is in love with Georgia

I have lived here for over 11 years. I have traveled the US & the world. I still find the Chattahoochee National Forest to be one of the most beautiful places. There are so many nature trails, waterfalls, rafting, fishing, etc. It's a nature's wonderland of activity. If nature's not your thing there are always festivals, and attractions of all... More

Hiked the Yellow Mountain Trail at Cooper Creek to Addie Gap and back. Total miles 6.5. Nice trail with awesome fall foliage. Not a soul on the trail but us. Great! Steep climb up and steep descent. Then you have to turn around and do it again. Bring plenty of water and a snack.

I came through here yesterday as I was coming out of NC down into GA, My mother enjoyed the scenic drive, very little travelers going thru here, for miles it's hilly and curvy winding roads, it's a beautiful drive as you cut through Clayton GA, the scenery is just absolutely beautiful, we had lots of laughs taking this route, great... The Chattahoochee National Forest is a treasure and offers an incredible variety of day-hikes and lengthier trails for the adventurous. Some of my favorite hikes in the Clayton area include the Holcomb Creek Trail, the Three Forks Trail and the Panther Creek Trails. Forest trails are generally well maintained, but inexperienced hikers should be cautious as explores have carved out... More

The Chattahoochee NF is so large it covers a large part of northern Georgia, so you are going to be driving in and out of it. It's beautiful through every turn you make. The roads wind up and down the mountains with breathtaking views. We were there a week and seen 17 waterfalls and did not see half. There are... More

What a beautiful drive to Nashville from Atlanta. The scenery is stunning and very little traffic on good roads. We stopped off for a night in Clayton (the Parker Ranch) and had an enjoyable/educational walk around the Tuulula Gorge. Longer driving this way but a very peaceful relaxed journey.
