Love the trails here and the views of the battlefields. It's a nice walk and it provides some scenery. The trails are a little sketchy in some parts but overall it's a really nice walk - just watch where you are going.

My family and I have enjoyed hiking/walking at this state park for years. It is so nice to take a walk and sit my the creek where there isn't a large crowd. One of the areas best kept secrets!

If you enjoy a nice gentle hike in the woods, you will like this trail. No strenuous mountains. No great waterfalls. But very pleasant. We didn't spend much time in the museum part but it looked good.

Robert Duvall "Get Low" was filmed here. This area also is a battlefield historic site. Beautiful untouched country. Wonderful to walk the grounds and get losted in another time.

Lots of history; easily seen in a few short hours; great walking paths. Best seen after a study of the battle... but most parks are better that way. Have fun!

Touted as the most-preserved battlefield in the United States, walking through this park is a great experience. See where U.S. Gen. Sherman's army, having left the railway, swinging westward, heading toward Atlanta, encountered Irish-born Confederate Gen. Patrick Cleburne's troops in the middle of the woods,...More
