I found this interesting; there was a small monument to veterans of 4 wars in the 20th century tucked into some bushes. A much larger monument to confederate soldiers (pictured) prominently displayed in front of the courthouse. At least they got rid of the flag.

My boyfriend and I went to a beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony here. The marble floor and walls were stunning! If you are looking for small venue for a party or wedding I would keep the Historic Courthouse in mind!

Very cool and historic building. Went to a wedding that was hosted on the top floor. Was very sweet and intimate - room could have held 100. Love the history and the old southern charm of this location

While historical, the 2nd floor courtroom is a great event space. Some of the back rooms where things are stored are definitely due for an update; however, the staff was helpful and the space was a great blank space to transform.

Local gem and there is a free kinda mini-museum inside in the first floor that you can get around in in 10-15minutes.
