A great place for very good barbecue! After a long hike we stopped here for some outstanding pulled pork sandwiches (unfortunately they sold the last ribs - but they looked amazing!!) Highly recommend you try ALL the sauces they provide - the house sauce was our favorite! Atmosphere is classic and the hospitality made us feel very welcome! A must stop if in the area.

Went for lunch and happened upon the hill! It was a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The hill was pretty cool with all those signs

We stop here many times on our trips to Blue Ridge to visit family (over the last 28 years). It has always been great food & service. The prices are a little high, but all BBQ places I have been to, usually are if they are any good. So we don't mind it, it's like a treat for us when passing thru. Plus the kids love looking at all the pigs on the hill and the number of pigs have grown so much thru the years. You can't miss all that color or the pig car.

When it comes to BBQ, always look for the small, hole-in-the-wall place with lots of cars and smoke from the chimney. THIS is that kind of place. This historic, family owned restaurant can't be missed - the Pig Hill of Fame can be seen for half a mile down the road (sad to say the big pig on the roof is gone).

You will find the pulled-pork to be smokey and moist, with 3 different sauces to compliment the flavor. The Baked Beans are fab! with a nice sweetness and real pork pieces (not the chunk of fat you'll find in canned beans). The Brunswick Strew is different than I've had in my past, with few veggies and lots of pork - loved it.

I look forward to returning again to try the brisket.

When you are driving down 515 in Ellijay, you can't miss Pig Hall of Fame if you want to visit it, you have to off on a side road to get there. This is a landmark of E. Ellijay with lots of historic photos of politicians plastered on the interior walls.

It's is a BBQ restaurant so the pork on the menu is no surprise. The pork was ok, but dry. needed to smother it in BBQ sauce to try to revive it. I don't like when I have to "cover up" the meat to make it taste better.

The pigs on the hill are fun and entertaining, and much better than the food.

There are lots of chain restaurants in a new development up the road from the hotel and I didn't drive all the way here to eat that kind of food.

You can't miss Pig Hall of Fame while driving though you have to turn off an awkward side road to get there. This is a landmark of E. Ellijay with lots of historic photos of politicians plastered on the interior walls.

It's a BBQ restaurant so the menu is no surprise. My friend had the Pulled Pork and it was tender and tasty. I had the ribs, 4 large ones, which were rather disappointing as they were under cooked and chewy. Side dishes were above average.

I've had better BBQ elsewhere.

Have to wonder if we could have had a better meal at one of those chain restaurants.

Family run resturant with photos of interesting people including past political endevers by the owners. From the pig mobile to the plywood pig cutouts on the pig hall of fame this is a unique place to visit. A little dated but what do you expect from a barbaque joint!

We have eaten there several times - the food is good. Pretty basic place - way less than average restaurant, but pretty common for a BBQ place. Service is ok.

first time we visited we fell into this shill of nonsense about buying a cut out pig figure with our name on it to be placed at the site on top of the hill. 5.00 and the kid loved it. they never made it, or if they did we never saw it which was what it was really all about in the first place. i just feel like i had my pocket picked by this old man in a silly costume. plus the food here could flat out suck the paint off a fire hydrant. DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM
