They are pricey for anything the children do. You have to buy a package thing and they won't separate. WE ended up walking out and going to another orchard

$10 each person just to enter was a little much. When we went there were hardly any apples left on the trees to pick. The kids did love the petting zoo though. All together we had fun.

My parents just moved here from Wyoming and on their bucket list was "hot apple oue and icecream" at the apple orchards...so we went. My GPS took us via a scenic route off Hwy 5 through Talking Rock then further into the "boonies" along a dirt road past a large vineyard to a T-junction. We hung a right first to... More

We came to pick apples and apples only but still had to pay an entrance fee of 10$ per person. This is the only orchard I have ever been to that does that. Literally our small bag of apples cost 27$. I highly recommend calling other orchards in the area if you just want to pick your own apples and... More

We took my four year old son to Hillcrest Orchards last weekend and we all had so much fun! Everyone working there was very nice, and there were a lot of neat activities. Plus, the apple doughnuts were delicious!

I went to Hillcrest Orchards to see my granddaughter clog and was pleasantly surprised. It has a good stage for the entertainers, a petting farm, wagon rides thru the orchards, a cow you can milk , a couple of museums, giant slides ,a dozen more things kids and family can enjoy. We got a large bag of delicious apples and... More

We make the trip once a year to the orchard. Nothing really changes but the imported apples, cider, and fritters are worth it. I suggest staying away from the food selection outside as the wait is always to long. The best thing is the staff they are always friendly and personable.

Hillcrest Orchards is fabulous! They have amazing apples to pick-huge selection, an apple store that sells other things as well, food, and wonderful entertainment. They have shows, pig races, a giant jumping pillow, tractor races, giant slides, a fairy tale forest, a cow train for kids that is super fun, miniature golf, petting zoo, oxen pulled hay ride, etc... and... I visited Hillcrest Orchard with a group of people from my community today. We were taken on a "tour" that featured a (fake) talking bull who told corny jokes, then treated to a hayride around the orchard, and a visit to the "apple museum." The fake bull was just lame. The ride through the orchard might have been educational had... More
