Dramatically stunning landscape. More dramatic than the everglades because full of swamp trees and Spanish moss. Lots of gators and (surprise) turtles, Some beautiful water fowl. We rented a boat for ourselves which was not too expensive ($120 for 90 minute tour). The guide was knowledgeable and charming. This is an excellent trip for all who love nature and would... More

I cannot say enough about this natural wildlife experience. We did the sunset cruise with Jen one night and loved it so much we came back the next day and took a canoe out to take in this natural beauty again. You will be blown away by how many alligators and birds you get to see. This changed out minds... More

We did the sunset boat tour with Jen, our guide. It was just the two of us with Jen and we had a wonderful time. The scenery was beautiful and we saw lots of gators, plus a barred owl and great blue heron. Jen timed the tour so that we could sit and watch the incredible sunset over the Chesser... More

This hour and a half tour gives you a whole new view of this place as you are exposed to the part you can see when you drive on land. We went down the Suwannee canal. The guide was very knowledgeable and we were all fascinated. Lots of nature and animals to see and absorb.

A boat ride through an ancient swamp full of alligators & water birds with our knowledgeable guide Steve was magnificent . Walking along Chesser Island Boardwalk & climbing Owls Roost Tower capped a day of natural beauty.

This was our second time with Okefenokee Adventures. They are very accommodating. Both times we took the 7:00 AM four hour motorized boat tour. At that hour we were the only ones on the tour both times. I highly recommend getting out that early. We see so much more at that hour than we do at the end of the... More

In november we went canoe camping for 3 days 2 nights. Our guide was Sheila whose family used to live on one of the swamp islands. As a result she was very familiar with the area and had wonderful stories about life in the swamp. We camped on platforms above the water and saw hundreds of alligators and thousands of... More

Definitely one of the most action-packed and awe-inspiring 90 minute adventures you will ever take!! If you are anywhere close to the area or have an excuse to pass by here, you should absolutely make this a priority. We saw more alligators than we could count (probably at least 50), plus a bunch of cool birds, turtles and some gorgeous... More

We went out on the 3:30pm guided boat tour. Saw lots of gators, a huge owl, and many different bird species. Our guide, Joey, was a hoot and a half! He made the trip informative and fun. He's a great ambassador for the swamp.

We were greeted by really friendly staff who welcomed us and explained everything. We had lunch there. It was tasty and extremely reasonable. We then went on a boat tour guided by Captain Charlie West. He was the best! Knew his stuff! We then rented bikes and went on a beautiful ride. The Chesser House and the Boardwalk are not... More
