For Dec. 9-10, 2015, we booked boat tours with Okefenokee Pastimes. Our host was Steve Knight, owner, who is both a knowledgeable naturalist and an all-round great host. We've been on a boat tour twice with Steve. You just can't ask for a nicer, more knowledgeable guy. And Jo, his wife, is just as friendly and accommodating. Although she has had some major health concerns recently, you would never know it. They have spots for RVs to camp and they have cabins available as well. Their place is... More

Get there early (I keep saying this in reviews). We were a bit extreme - we'd booked whilst over there via the internet and arranged for a 7.30am start (sunup in October) which meant a 90 min drive from our accommodation.
