When we reserved our golf package through Jekyll Island Club (lodging, breakfast, 18 holes of golf, all for two), we asked for the most beautiful course of the three options instead of the most challenging one. We were rewarded with a great day at Pine Lakes. It was absolutely perfect for us...dreamy, deceivingly "private" fairways with lots of sawgrass and... More

Got to play a round at the Pine Lakes Course. Conditions were excellent. The fairways were green and in great shape. Greens were fast, but manageable and rolled true.

Three well maintained courses, all challenging amidst beautiful and scenic beach front. Good clubhouse with full menu and bar.

It is no wonder that the wealthy of New York built their summer homes here. The beautiful island helps to wash away your worries. I love riding bikes through the salt marshes on the boardwalk. I love sitting on the porch of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.

Nice course with great greens and a uncrowded course. We enjoyed a mid afternoon round on Pine Lakes, which is a perfect course for families with multiple tees. Fees were reasonable and loved the smooth greens. Lots of wildlife on the course as we saw at least 7 deer, gators and many varieties of birds. Pro shop is well stocked... More

Three very nice golf courses. Well placed bunkers and hazards make these courses a challenge to lower handicappers but still playable for higher scorers. If you're visiting south Georgia do yourself a favor and play Jekyll Island.

For those that are not aware the Island has two fabulous 18 hole courses. To our surprise there is an absolutely challenging par three executive course on the ocean. It's not your every day par three but one that seniors, ladies and experts alike will enjoy. We ate ate a grill in the brand new section of the island. It... More

Enjoyed touring the property and hearing the history. We took the tour and enjoyed seeing in some of the homes. The staff was friendly.

It's Southeastern US classic parkland/forested golf--Bermuda Fairways and Greens. I was only able to play Indian Mounds and Pine Lakes courses, but both were fair, but challenging layouts. I enjoyed Indian Mounds a bit more and it was probably a little more open and more scenic. The downside was the greens on both courses were in pretty poor shape, although... More

Golfed the Indian Mound Course and loved it. Great rental clubs if you don't have your own. Even better was the nature experience. Deer are pretty much everywhere. Was fortunate enough to see a mom and her fawn near one of the greens.
