The Historic Wharf is located on Jekyll Island, this is the perfect location to see the boats traveling along the Intracoastal Waterway going to all parts of the world. This is the best location on Jekyll Island to watch the Tropical Sunset. This is also the home of Jekyll Island Boat Tours and the Wharf Restaurant. Come to the Wharf for lunch or dinner and take one of the many boat tours of the beautiful Georgia Coast where you will see much of our wildlife such as our Dolphins.

We ate there twice if that tells you anything. We had dinner outside with a beautiful view of the sunset--the food was delicious and service was good.

The Shrimp and Grits were wonderful, a friend and I shared the appetizer tray of shrimp, calamari and fried pickles. The calamari was so tender. Our waitress was phenomenal and so helpful. a beautiful view over the water.

Beautiful place to visit. My grandkids and I loved it. It is so peaceful and serene. It is amazing to see the boats on the water.

The wharf is currently under renovation, and we visited at dusk. I do believe there is a buggy tour that also leaves from this area.

This wharf is a nice place to take a stroll or have a picnic. The restaurant on the wharf closed last year and a new restaurant is under construction. The dolphin tours leave from this wharf. They are highly recommended.

This pier is super calm and relaxing. There is a small shop nearby as well as easy access to a beach.

It's nice to see, but it's not like a huge boardwalk. You might need like 5 minutes and that's it. We wasn't bothered by bugs or birds. It did not smell like fish, which was good.
