Trolley tour was very informative. Saw inside of Moss and Mistletoe cottages on this tour. Was a difficult ride for kids and elderly as getting on and off the trolley for stops was a bit difficult. Hour and a half tour with no potty break opporotunities, so go before you hop on! Museum is free, but many texts and photos... More

Really enjoyed the historic tram tour. Would recommend the free museum before the tour. Lots of great information. The actual tram tour was not only informative but a lot of fun. The tour guide told stories of the people who lived in the houses that helped them come to life in my mind. Lots of interesting history and well worth... More

Oh my, this museum is awful!! In shambles! The only reason to go is they can take you on the trolley tour to see some rooms in the historic homes. I think the tour is too expensive for the few rooms. They desperately need an investor and/or historian to fix all this. A wasted opportunity given the gorgeous historic area... More

We were a group of 31 and very much enjoyed our tram tour of the historic cottages. Our tour director was very friendly and made the history tour very interesting. Really enjoyed hearing about all the families that vacationed on the island. Particularly enjoyed the stop at the chapel. The stained glass windows in the church were beautiful. It was... More

Museum is free entrance and u can tell that there is a combined effort to preserve the history of the place the best way possible. As a free entrance museum one can expect that there could be much more done to it patrons would fund it. I hope they can get grants to make it bigger and even better.

This could be a great tourist venue, educational and informative with respect to southern coastal Georgia island life. The grounds are attractive and well maintained with picturesque live oaks and native plants BUT the museum and outbuildings are in serious need of repair and rehabilitation!

The museum is actually disappointing..There really wasn't much in the museum. they have a small area which talks about the building materials used on the island and a couple of pictures.

Great little Museum. Gives a good overview of the island history, before or after you take the trolley tour.
