My family and I stayed in one of Sweetwater Creeks yurts. A yurt is kinda like a trailer and a tent had a baby. The sunrise and sunsets were AMAZING and I gotta say, for being someone who doesn't generally like camping it was pretty...More

Husband took me here for the first time several years ago and we enjoyed it. Took our daughter here and she had a blast. It's super peaceful and extremely beautiful especially in the fall.

Went to the park for a day trip with our 4 and 8 year olds. Hiked the longest trail, about 5 miles. Beautiful hike. Very nice visitor's center. Maps of trails available. Rangers were very helpful. Several spots to have a picnic. Fun day.

It's 2500 acres of forest, lake, streams and trails only fifteen miles from the middle of Atlanta. There is an old mill where a couple of movies were partially shot, including Hunger Games, Mocking Jay, Part 1. Travolta and DeNiro did one here. It's part...More

this little park is close to the city and easy to get to. Great scenic trails along the creek. Quite rugged in parts.

In the creek you can swim, but you have to hike to it. The water isn't that clean looking. I wouldn't recommend it.
