I went with my mother and 4 year old. It was off season so some of the attractions like gem mining were closed, but the scenery was amazing despite that. I will recommend rock city and the aquarium as the top 2 things to do in the area.

Rock City is a wonderland of gardens, sights, sounds, and fun. The place is populated with friendly gnomes (if you have the eyes to see them!) and wonderful memories. I recommend it highly!

There are gardens, paths, waterfall, deer. caves, etc. Everything was well kept and clean. Going in January we practically had the park to ourselves. Plus I had a great burger... More

Went during the Christmas season. Whew! We, literally, just inched along the pathways. Our younger children had people's backsides in their faces for most of the trip. (I think it would be wise if management only allowed a certain number of people in per minute, or find another way to control the influx of viewers on any certain path.) Needless... More
