Fantasy in Lights visit 11/21/16

Visited with my family and enjoyed the lights. The park staff is friendly and helpful. The tour was nice, bit probably a bit overpriced.

While visiting the area, the family decided to visit Callaway's Fantasy in Lights. With the high cost of admission (a full priced adult ticket is $28), we expected more than what was provided. Much of the drive is through complete darkness and many light displays are nothing more than what are found throughout local neighborhoods. There are two or three... More

I haven't been in about 10 years to see the light show. I think that every section was the same as previous years with the exception of one that was new. I think it's over priced for what you get. If you haven't been before it's worth going, but I wouldn't make it a yearly tradition.

There is a lot to see at Callaway Gardens. There are beautiful grounds, a 19th century cabin, a predator bird show, and a butterfly garden. There are also activities for the more active--hiking and biking trails and an aerial obstacle course along with some zip lines. From around Thanksgiving to New Years there is also a Christmas light show with... More

Drove 6 Hrs to what was supposed to be one of the nations best Christmas lights displays. It was mediocre at best and with a HUGE price tag! $68 for a couple. Lucky for us, Rving at Pine Mountain Rv Resort was awesome. If you live nearby and you want to see some Christmas lights and don't mind paying too... More

We visited Callaway Gardens Lodge and Spa to see the Christmas lights, and we were not disappointed. It's a fun way to spend an evening, and it certainly got us in the holiday spirit. The Lodge and Spa was lovely with a warm conversation grouping around a crackling fireplace. Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated.

We have visited Callaway Gardens many times in the past and were attempting a visit this weekend to not the gardens and the Fantasy in Lights. However, after making numerous phone calls to try to make arrangements for our visit, we finally gave up. Each phone call revealed that telephone reservationists could not do their jobs. Each fall was forwarded... More

We are glad that you enjoyed your visit. And, we appreciate your post. For a holiday experience lasting more than an hour and providing transportation as well as a complimentary visit to enjoy the Gardens by day (a $20 value), we feel that the price is reasonable.
