Enjoyed touring the museum and reading about the history from the area. Good interactive simulator for young people to get involved with and spark their interest. Highly recommend stopping by and spending an hour or two enroute to your destination.

I was the first one in on a Saturday morning and the staff (docents?) were anxious for me to spend my time wisely. I had 1 1/2 hours available and didn't really get to absorb everything. I am fairly well versed in this era's history...More

I admit it, I am a "history nut". I found this museum informative and a lot of fun. The docents were a wealth of information, always ready to answer a question, very willing to help. The exhibits were a nice balance of "hands on" activities, guided...More

If you look through my reviews, you will see that I love planes. This museum has planes, but it is more about the men and women who flew them. Not designed as an aviation display, this museum offers a true chance for learning and reflection...More

Anyone remembering or had a family member in WW2 should visit here. It's preserving American History as told by many that were there. We're losding too many of the veterans from that Era and this is a memorial to their heroism!

What a well done display. Exceptional collection of uniforms and everyday items, well displayed and emotional. Fun place to visit that is very reverent to the memories of the sacrifice and service of the Mighty 8th during WW2. Highly recommend this for everybody!

The majority of our exhibits are indoors. The Mighty Eighth is 90,000 square feet, and you can learn all about the Eighth Air Force walking through the museum.
