My husband and I loved this museum. Dale Ashbury's Mission presentation moved me to tears, and I especially loved the part of the museum dedicated to the brave women pilots (WASPS).

If you are interested in WWII history, or the 8th, this is a must-see in the Savannah area. The exhibits are well done, some are interactive, and the facility is easy to navigate. The museum does a good job of placing events in context. The...More

I was very impressed with the exhibits and the honour bestowed upon not only the US Mighty Eighth but also the Royal Air Force were very well represented and respected. The volunteers were very passionate in telling you every aspect of each exhibit.

Allow plenty of time as there is a lot to see and read. The planes and history here are a must see. There are a lot of artifacts on display and the history of them.

Discovered the museum when we checked in and only ad one hour to race through before continuing on our way. My regret, as this museum and it's displays deserves to be enjoyed to it's fullest. The Docents were most helpful, video movies interesting and moving,...More

The majority of our exhibits are indoors. The Mighty Eighth is 90,000 square feet, and you can learn all about the Eighth Air Force walking through the museum.
