The nature at this Georgia State Park will amaze you and Sitton's Gulch Trail is the belly of the beast, a point to point trail that runs along the creeks that formed Cloudland Canyon billions of years ago. You can start at the top of...More

We were planning to do the west rim loop walk, but when we arrived, the whole place was extremely thick with cloud (living up to its name!). We stopped off at the visitors center and the ranger advised us not to do that walk, but...More

Have driving by the sign for this park many times, but finally visited. It was a great find. The canyon and waterfalls are spectacular. The modest $5 fee for a car to enter was well worth it. The trails were well marked and though steep...More

Overshadowed by Lookout Mountain, this is a must see. The views are spectacular, and waterfalls amazing. Small interpretive center. Only negative: the park map was very confusing.

This was the most amazing campground for the most excellent in-park natural scenery that I have ever seen. There were waterfalls everywhere and fantastic views and overlooks. We had young kids and teenagers and everyone loved it! We will definitely be back when it is...More

We all enjoyed the views here and hiked down to a waterfall and played in the water. The paths were very well taken care of and signs to guide. We went a beautiful day.

We had so much at Cloudland State Park. The waterfalls are absolutely beautiful as well as the scenery as you hike to get to them. The campsites are large and spacious. More importantly you are not on top of each other. The staff at the...More
