We visited after I had read some of the Eugenia Price books. The cemetery is absolutely beautiful, and rich with history. We enjoyed reading the inscriptions on the tombstones.

Make sure to walk the cemetery as it is IMO the feature of St Simons church. Beautiful old oaks - very 'old southern'.

This charming Church is something that time has preserved. Historical grounds where the Wesley brothers actually walked and developed. Attended services here in October and again at Christmas. Great experience!

One of my favorite places on the island. If you have ever read Eugenia Price's trilogy about the island you will want to come here for sure.

Beautiful live oaks and Spanish miss! Cemetery great lesson in Georgia history. Spend the 30-60 minutes in the heat. It’s worth it.

I don't think so. It's a cemetery with a small chapel.

Yes. It's a very active congregation with multiple services on Sunday and some weekday services as well. Look on their website - ccfssi
