Great hiking trails along the river or you can kayak or bring your tube down and float the river. Great on a hot southern day.

Medlock Bridge is a small park within the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area in Duluth, GA. It offers picnic tables, fishing, canoeing, and a nice trail along the Chattahoochee River. The trail is dirt and is a flat, easy walk for beginner hikers.

We did these trails over two weekends and loved them! This place is within the city and so convenient. We took an Uber and so didn't have the hassle of finding parking. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends but we had our moment...More

I do not kayak, tube, canoe or swim in the river. I just don't trust the water quality. The river is the trash bin for Georgia! The hiking is great, however!
