Loved the flight show and all the interactive stations where you could play with and/or hold the animals.

This is a must see if you are in Statesboro. The Center is an education outreach center and is the best Wildlife Center in the area!

Very educational. Well-run with a well-informed staff to answer all your questions. Great place for families. Children have a great time. Older patrons will enjoy as well. Gift shop.

I work at Georgia Southern...so there may be some bias! However, how many universities in the country can say they have a wildlife center in the middle of campus? I use to take my kids (when they were little) almost every weekend. So much to see and learn. I know that many elementary schools from several counties come here with... More

Visited with my granddaughter and her class. This was indeed a GREAT/NICE place! Very interesting, informative and hands on. The guide was good with both the adults and kids. I learned things that I'd never heard before and they allowed the kids to get involved with the animals, etc. Was a good place for kids and adults to visit, I... More

I have a five year old granson and he has seen this place about a dozen times. He still loves the bird show as if... More

Great for whiling away a few hours alone or with the family. The flight show is worth the trip. Summer camp options for children are fun and educational.

I wonder how many Georgia Southern students never set foot in this facility while they are enrolled. It's small but it's free for students and only $2 for adults. They have very comfortable, shaded walking trails with a cushiony recycled rubber walking paths. They do have raptors on display in natural settings but some are chained in place for viewing.... Wonderful place to visit!! My niece had a great time seeing the birds, the turtles and even got to hold a snake. There is a different show daily at 3pm. I wish it were earlier because that is the time my children get out of school and I can't be two places at once.
