Beautiful grounds!! The wedding, reception and dinner were well put together. The bride and groom on the carriage through the lovely grounds was picture perfect. Enjoyed carriage house and stables. If we'd arrived earlier I think we would have toured the grounds more.

Very well preserved plantation. Try to tour at Christmas, its breathtaking! Some walking required if you want to tour the grounds, but its not a great distance. Not usually crowded. Check ahead for tour times, a lot of events are scheduled here, including weddings.

We enjoyed our private tour with Ann Howell. We learned a lot about the house and its various inhabitants. Everything was authentic and that was so interesting. Easy to explore the grounds as well. Old cemetery is of interest and highlights the history of Thomasville.

The property was once a working plantation but was eventually acquired by a wealthy northern family who turned it into a shooting plantation.

This is how REALLY big money used to live! Firstly, nothing at Pebble Hill Plantation has anything at all to do with the Civil War. If you're only looking for "Old Dixie" this is not for you. Everything you'll see is was built in the...More

I don't remember. We were unable to go inside due to a wedding that day. We spent almost two hours touring the grounds and outside buildings. Going back in December for the Christmas celebration they hold every year and plan... More
