The Tybee Island Lighthouse was built in 1773 and is the oldest Lighthouse in Georgia. An entry ticket allows you to see the Lighthouse, the Head Keepers Cottage, the 2nd Assistant Keepers Cottage, the Summer Kitchen and the Tybee Island Museum across the street. The Lighthouse is CLOSED TUESDAYS, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, St. Patrick's Day (or the day of the Savannah St. Patrick's Day parade).

The view from the top of the lighthouse was simply breathtaking & worth the climb! From the top you have panoramic views of the entire island.

So gorgeous, well curated museum, the grounds are meticously maintained. The view was spectacular. Throughly enjoyed our visit.

Lovely lighthouse with keepers homes set up for great lesson in history. We really enjoyed the short film, artifacts and walking through the buildings. Nice view from the top of the lighthouse too!

Historic attraction on Tybee Island. Lighthouse is from the late 1790s. Not too much detail about it. Wide steps to get to the top. Worth a look

The top of the lighthouse offers some beautiful views. It's a long way up, but worth the climb! The housing for the workers is very interesting to view also.

$9 for adults, $7 for children ages 6 to 17, seniors, and military. Children 5 and under are free.
