This was our favourite tour during our entire holiday. Eric went above and beyond to help us find a vegan winery to go visit which we appreciated greatly. Eric picked us up in his cute vintage CV and we headed off for a lesson regarding the history first, followed by wine tasting at a local vineyard. Eric is extremely knowledgeable... More

I highly recommend Eric's discovery tour to anyone who visits Chablis or Auxerre area in northern Burgundy. We took the full day tour with lunch option. The tour is educational, relaxing and entertaining. This really is the best way to experience Burgundy wine.

Eric is extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a memorable day visiting Chablis and Auxerre. We now have a much better understand of the area and the wines produced. And we tasted some great wines, saw some beautiful sights and had a lovely lunch.

Eric is a passionate and most entertaining host, his knowledge of the area, wine production and history are most impressive. Our tour of the vineyards and a visit to a local producer in the 2cv, lunch and tastings made a day to remember. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Eric's tours to anyone interested in learning more about Chablis, its history and its wines. Eric's many years of professional wine making experience have left him with an incredible depth and breadth of knowledge which he enthusiastically shares with his guests. He does a wonderful job covering the history of wine making in the area and of... More

Eric is knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining, a perfect host and mentor for a day in Chablis! Our group included a wine "connoisseur," a wine drinker/lover and a wine newbie; each of us was enchanted, educated and entertained by Eric! We started in Auxerre, receiving stories and lectures while viewing vineyards from beautiful hills and deep, caverness cellars. Eric had fascinating... More

We took an afternoon wine class/tasting from Eric and it was time very well spent! This was our first stop in Bourgogne and what a great way to start! Eric is passionate about the wine of Chablis and his knowledge is at a very high level. It would be impossible not to be excited as well after spending some time... More

If all you have is half a day or just a few hours then go and see Eric. He teaches you about Bourgogne and its wine producing regions. The importance of the history, the area, the slope, the soil/ground, the climate. Of course he also explains the wine itself. The eye, the nose and the mouth. We learnt so much... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to book a wine tour with Eric. Not only is Eric passionate about the wines of Burgundy but he is an excellent teacher. Since we come from Southern California we have been on a number of wine tastings but nothing as extensive as Eric's tour. He picked us up in his Citroen 2CV... More
