Very interesting!

Lots of local history. We enjoyed it very much. Got a little exercise and learned how gold was mined here.

A modest museum with mini-film, and a mini-train ride (sized for kids). Friendly staff and reasonable prices

The hike around the property was fun. Not too challenging for young kids. They loved panning for Gold! Fun inexpensive activity!

Most fascinating to our toddler were the tunnels dug for searching for gold, you can get up close to see and explore around. They... More

I found this place on TripAdvisor and wanted to take my two year old god daughter there. All kids under age three or four get in for free. We ended paying for the adults to ride the train and five dollars for the gem panning. The train ride lasted for about 10-15 minutes. The conductor also gives a tour on... More

My wife and I live in Villa Rica and decided to take our grand kids to the gold museum. I was surprised how much that I enjoyed it.
