Fantastic every time we've gone. So beautiful, so clean, so well organized. Plenty of activities for those who want to be in the sun and those who do not. We saw lizards on land and sea turtles, stingrays and fish in the snorkeling lagoon. No waves so you can just float forever. Note, people lay claim to the hammocks and... More

This was our third visit to Castaway Cay. Every visit has been pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable. We and the opportunity to walk all around the island, relax in Serenity Bay, do some swimming, and ride a water trike. There was some damage to the island from Hurricane Matthew. Mostly this was cosmetic, and the structures and beaches were in decent... More

I REALLY enjoyed Serenity Bay - the beautiful water, refreshing, delicious adult beverages and that hammock! I was able to relax there, because my grandson enjoyed the Scuttle's Cove area and did not want to leave. My daughter and niece enjoyed the family beach area. The family beach area was not for me however, because of the crowd. My purpose... More

My husband and I were on a 4 night cruise to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The day at Castaway Cay was our actual anniversary. It was a beautiful day! We walked around the family beach on our way back to the Dream, but spent all our time on the Cay at Serenity Beach. The adult beach was very uncrowded. The... More

We've been on 6 Disney Cruises, and we don't even have kids! We move around a lot, and we always joke that Castaway Cay is the closest thing to that sense of 'home' that we have. Bring your own snorkel and hit the adults-only Serenity Bay for some great snorkeling, but make sure to snorkel the family beach too. What... More

This was our second time on the island. The trip date was September 17 2015. it is a great stop to relax, eat or enjoy the various activities Disney has on the island. We went snorkleing in the lagoon. We are Scuba divers so we brought our own snorkels fins and masks to go out into the lagoon. There isn't any Scuba... More

We have been to this island a few times now. We have found while the island is great all-around the best place is the adult-only beach. I suggest checking your kids in it scuttles Cove and getting over to the adult Beach later in the day as many people leave early. The snorkeling over there is better than anywhere else... More

First off, make sure you know there is the option of running a 5K on Castaway Caye. They did very little announcing of this on the paper work, but on the morning you arrive at the island, you can get off the boat at 8:00AM with the 5K group and for completing the run/walk, they give you a rubber medal... My husband and I went with my sister and her husband and my niece (7 yrs), and my brother-in-law's brother. This is a very special island, because there truly is something for everyone. We got on the island first thing at 8:30 and walked to our beach. The beaches are somewhat crowded. It reminds me of beaches in Long Island,... More

We went in June and paid over $6000 just to go to Castaway Cay. It's such a nice place and by far the best port we've visit. It started pouring at 10am, rained out the buffet and didn't stop until 5pm just as we pulled out. When that happens do they offer half price drinks making them only $6? Do... More
