Don't miss the occasional "adult nights." Science, craft beer, wine as ongoing fundraisers. Museum has incredible collection of hands-on science displays developed and collected over the years. Great spot for families and kids - just as much fun on "adult nights!"

Wonderful place for kids to do hands-on science experiments and learn about the how and why. Some exhibits are permanent but others, like Sue the Tyrannosaurus, are on display for a limited time and change to keep it different. They even have a special activity area for very young children. A yearly family pass pays for itself in only 2-3... More

We went during the time that Sue the TRex was on display. Also managed to be there at the time of a school field trip so there were tons of middle school kids. For as much as it cost ($68 for a family of 5) it may be beneficial to call ahead and confirm that there are no groups scheduled... More

Four adults visited the Discovery Center on a Sunday to see the special display of the t. rex dinosaur "Sue". The special display was very well done with interactive opportunities as well as videos and informational displays. We also visited all the other rooms and tried many of the interactive displays on science and math. The building has limited parking... More

Love this place. Hands on activities to make you and miss think about the world we live in. Changing exhibits keeps it renewed. Safe environment. Close to Julia Davis Park and Greenbelt.

We took our 4 year old grandson to see "Sue", the T Rex on display. Was surprised that it was an actual skeleton of a T Rex on loan from the Field Museum of Chicago ( impressive). He also enjoyed a number of hands on activities. He lives in Seattle and we go to the Discovery Center whenever he visits... More

I think the Discovery Center is a great place to take children to see some of the wonders of science. On my last visit I had a good time experiencing things with my grandson. It's a fun thing to do to get out of the house with a kid. It isn't a place my wife and I would go for... More

The new T Rex display along with the informative writings are great for adults and older kids. The center has a lot of fun, exciting and creative displays to entice any child. A curious kid would be kept busy all day and not get bored. I very nice place.

The t-Rex Sue is at DCI until May. It's an amazing exhibit and well worth the price of admission. There is a ton of things for the little ones to do.
