This park is in the middle of Boise with many trees and flowers. I find it very restful and it is adjacent to the Boise Art Museum and the Idaho Historical Museum. Make an afternoon out of it. Parking can be a problem.

My husband and I enjoy getting our exercise walking and enjoying the natural beauty and fresh air along the river front when coming to town to shop at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market. We live in Meridian.

Nice place to walk along the river when it's not too snowy outside. The zoo is small - great for wee little kids, the museum is strollable if it's too cold outside.
