Great concert venue.

We attended several concerts here and loves them. Bring your own picnic, kick back and enjoy a great evening outside.

We visited the Idaho Botanical Garden in early April, before plants were really growing like crazy but still had a wonderful experience. There are still plants to see and very beautiful hard-scaping: stone & metal work, paths, gazebos, patios, contemporary sculpture, views of both the gardens and the foothills right behind the garden. It's a wonderful place to look, take... More

This is one of my all time favorite Boise destinations! The gardens are gorgeous and provide great areas to picnic, play, take pictures, walk or just sit and contemplate the beauty! The Lewis and Clark trail is interesting and informative and ends at a beautiful statue of Sacajawea. As an added bonus it also takes you to an overlook of... More

I went with a group and we learned about a lot of species. Some resemble one another so I didn't remember all of them by the end-the again I wasn't interested in horticulture the way I am in astronomy, history, culture, philosophy or linguistics.

Beautiful roses, what a suprise on my walk. Various colors, no fee - open parkland. Part of complex where you can see additional historic sites.

The gardens, located next to the Old Idaho State Penitentiary, are an Idaho gem. The garden was established in 1984 and operates without government funding. There are several themed gardens, including an Idaho native garden, a rose garden, English garden and even one featuring plants matching those collected by the Lewis and Clark expedition between Great Falls, Montana, and The... In the spring, everything is blooming, in summer the weather is beautiful and this place is fragrant, in the fall the leaves are all changing colors, and in the winter they have Winter Garden-a-Glow.

I don't come here to often, but they make great day's out with my grandma. It's a low key, relaxing, stress free, outing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit on Christmas Day. Lots of snow on the ground. The lighting was mind blowing. Every tree and shrub lit up with beautiful lights. We had hot apple cider and snicker doodles while standing around the fire barrel, listening to Christmas music. Quite magical.
