Lovely park with the river running through it but we didnt't get to enjoy the water activities because of all the rain-the rafting activities were closed down when I was there-and you couldn't even go near the river as it was flowing too fast and...More

Barber Park is a great place to go for a number of activities! Float the Boise River in the summer from Barber Park to Ann Morrison Park. Fish the Boise River. Hold family events in the park and at the event center. It's just a...More

This was a natural habitat for a lot of birds including eagles and owls, deer, beaver, badger, and a lot of others. Ada County has ruined that by putting in office buildings, an event center, expanding the raft rental building including parking and storage of...More

Community center is beautiful for a large group of people, up to 200. Spring, summer, and fall, the facility is well lit by the natural sunlight from outside. The inside is air conditioned. Nice for teas, weddings, and more.

I took a taxi from airport to Barber Park for about $25. I rented a tube for $12. They will need an ID and Credit Card as deposit for the tube. You can then float downriver Boise to Kathryn Albertson Park.
