My wife and I drove (intending to go around) for a long time and never saw the end. We were told it is 90 miles around the lake. Awesome drive nevertheless. This is the most magnificent lake we've ever seen. It is so beautiful that we plan on a return but to spend more time. We vacationed there for one... More

This lake is beautiful. The family has access to paddle boards, sail boats and other recreational sports. The water is clean and easy to swim in too. Close to restaurants and hotels. A great place to vacation or live!

Went with my inlaws who live in Sandpoint area, lots to see and a great area to sight see. We went to Kootenai Falls, a little ways from the lake. but worth the trip.

Love the lake. The water level is higher than I have ever seen. The water is receding but it is a must see at these levels.

Coeur d'Alene Lake is a beautiful sight. We sat and looked out over it in the middle of March. It's beautiful in any season, but in this sunny late winter day it was beautiful. In March about the only thing one can do there is admire its beauty, but that itself brought us a sense of joy as we looked... More

thought in summer, when it is windy you should never forget warm and thick clothe if you take a boat cruise. You can see the millionaires' summer villas and gorgeous hotels on lakeside. Walking longer floating deck maybe must here.

The lake is so wonderful to take on on a walk or to go for a swim. I always loved going to the city park and walking along lake Coeur d'Alene.

This is a large lake (112 mi. of shoreline) that takes up to 2 hrs to drive around. Although most of the highway(s) is not next to the shore, one is able to get close to the East side for roughly half of the drive. The West end of the lake is accessible from several county roads too. The Centennial... More
