Lovely lake front. Saw pontoon planes and many boats in marina, but none on open water at sunset. Pedestrian and bike friendly. Many restaurants and shops. This is where I live and vacation. The area is extremely busy o. The weekends but during the week has minimal traffic and is very enjoyable

Visited the park. Has free parking for handicap. Walking paths, benches for relaxing. Great scenic views of the lake.

This is probably the 3rd time we have shared taking the Boat Cruise of CdA Lake with family. Each time they (and we) are impressed with the view, the Lake, the History lesson. We recommend it at least once, if not more often.

The boardwalk is always a must do when in Coeur d’Alene. Very well maintained and love looking at all the boats in the marina.

Yes the beach is free There are parking lots where you pay. Or just park on the street for free, 2 hour limit in close. Or go about four blocks away for free all day. We drive a 33foot motorhome so go 4 blocks away.

Take the low trail to the west around tubs hill. You will find a beach at the southern most point. This location is nearby downtown CDA.
