The drive up through Hwy 70 between Oroville and Quincy is a gorgeous drive especially in fall. Feather River National Scenic Byway (Route 70 north from Oroville) is really not all that scenic, in our opinion. If you are an admirer of highway and railway engineering, then go. Belden is actually a semi known area in the SF dance commnity. But dont let it's "Rave Roots" be a discouragment when looking for a really nice place to campout and do some summertime Fishing / Hiking.
