This center is pretty much center of town (Ketchum). It is a lovely building, with lots of tables and chairs. It also has racks and racks of brochures describing various activities in the area and Idaho in general. There is a full service Starbucks in the building, that also serves wine. Wine latte anyone? During the summer, there are tables... More

Not a fan of Starbucks, personally. But if you have patronize one, this would be the one. Rugged architecture and atmosphere, decorated with black and white photos of Warren Miller and corresponding autobiographical, hand-written notes. "Visitor center" is just a wall of brochures - there is no indication that it is staffed at any time. Before you go, be sure... More

This is a nice center and seemed to have not only information but tickets for most of what you'd want. I was hoping to get info but the bus arrived too soon for me to get much info before I had to leave. I did observe them helping several others and they were courteous and full of good information.

The Sun Valley Visitor's Center is a staffed kiosk within the Starbuck's in Sun Valley right on Sun Valley Road. While trying to figure out the bus schedule a kind man came over to introduce himself as an employee of the visitor's center and he helped me with my bus questions and ski rental questions too. .

I was expecting more. Inside a Starbucks. All the brochures were there. If there is a real person on duty to answer questions and offer advice I did not see them and I went back twice.

We had different types of hiking in mind on different days but weren't sure were to go so we went to the Visitor Center. The gentleman that helped us was amazing and very knowledgeable. He gave us lots of great suggestions and we took them all.

As others have written here, the Visitor Center is located in the Starbucks, right in the heart of downtown Ketchum. The real attraction here is the Starbucks; it gets 5-Stars. It's one of the most special Starbucks that you will ever see. First of all, it is locally-owned, i.e., not one of the many, many (too many) corporate stores. And... More

I was directed to the visitor's center by signs and walked right past it.It's located (hidden?) in a large Starbucks. There were some brochures and maps available, but if there had not been someone present to answer my questions I would have been at a loss. Calling it a visitors center is a bit of a stretch, but the people... More

The visitor center has absolutely everything you need to know about the Sun Valley area. There are plenty of brochures that cover restaurants, hiking and biking, galleries, and almost anything else you can think of. They also have volunteers on stand-by to answer any questions. This was incredibly helpful!

Volunteers sit inside the local Starbucks and offer tips to tourists. They also have brochures and will make phone calls for you. Very useful :)
