Jack O'Connor was quite the writer and hunter. Many trophies from his hunts around the world are on display here. There are also some of the firearms that he used on display. A great collection! A gift shop is available for your shopping pleasure.

This is a free museum in Hell's Gate State Park. It is very small and filled with stuffed animals and information on hunting.

This is a fun, interesting, historical stop. Although a small place, it is packed with memorable items to see.

Stopped in while visiting the park. Seems this guy was a local hero of sorts. Lots of animal heads, nest camping gear.etc. Worth the history and visit. Very nice volunteer docent.

It depends on your opinions and beliefs. When I first saw this exhibit, it can be a little unnerving to see all these beautiful animals stuff and displayed. I hope that Jack O'Connor ate these animals and not kill them for sport (NOT!)
