A must see!

We were greeted by a very nice younger woman dressed in period dress. They took us on a guided tour, then went on a wagon ride over 1100 miles........so worth it!

I guess it was closed/limited in winter, but we talked to the staff and was able to book a tour. It was very fun. Our kids age 14 yrs on down enjoyed it. I highly recommend visiting this museum. Learned a lot!

A lovely facility with friendly, helpful staff, BUT..... We were there in February, the hours are short and much of the building is closed for the season. It would be nice to go there when things are open. I think that it's fully open in April.

The Oregon Trail Center was fantastic! I felt like I stepped back in time. You must have lunch in a covered wagon. Iced tea is served in adorable Ball glasses. When will you get the chance to do that again?! Kids will like the simulated wagon ride. I found it fascinating that you are literally walking on the dirt path... More

Our group stopped at this location for lunch in these adorable chuck wagon designed tables. After lunch, we enjoyed a short production of life on a wagon trail complete with a simulated ride in a wagon.

Wonderful display of railroad relics and pioneer artifacts. It was very interesting. I love hearing about the pioneers and seeing what they wore and how they lived.

While the exhibit area is free and has several interesting displays, paying for the optional tour experience is well worth it. Not only was the tour very informative but we actually felt like we were transported back in time to the actual Oregon trail... and, as it turns out, we sort of really were!

Our stop here was a part of our Caravan Bus Tour. We were given a lecture about how the settlers endure the hardship of months on this trail to head out west. Some of the people on our bus tour were a little intimidated by the gentlemen who instructed us about the "white rags". I guess some people were afraid... More

Stopped here as part of a bus tour. They seem to get a lot of business this way - not sure how many 'regular tourists' stop here. We had lunch included. Again, not sure if this is normal. The food was good and more than enough to eat. The 'journey' west was well done, taking us from buying supplies to... More

We stopped here hoping to be informed about the Oregon trail. What we got was a show that was not all that informative, the so called museum was nothing but old trail artifacts not really sure what that has to do with the Oregon Trail. Upstairs was a quilt show.
