The railroad theme is insufficient to carry out the mission of the museum. It suffers from lack of concise quality archival work. It needs to focus on bringing the community into the process and with effort can grow to a quality museum. It is worth...More

We visited the Nampa railroad museum to find out more about railroading and the history of Nampa and that area of Idaho. The museum has been the recipient of a goodly number of artifacts that pertain not only to railroading and the story of Nampa,...More

This is a great stop for anyone with family history in Nampa or if you like historic train depos. Beautiful old building with rotating exhibits. Limited hours, so check to see when open.

Great way to spend an hour or so! Docents were informative and more than willing to share their knowledge. They willingly opened up the caboose on a very cold January day - just so we could take a look - thank you!
