We took our time and the weather was perfect! It was a warm March day (45). There were so many animals out, and not a lot of visitors at 10:30. It got a little more crowded after 12:00 but we left shortly after that so it didn't bother us much. This is worth the drive from Chicago, to get away... More

This place is good to explore for one complete day. I went in the month of March which is not an ideal time as some of the animals were off exhibits. Also activities like motor safari was closed. "Dolphins in Action" was a great show which is open throughout the year and I completely loved it.

This zoo has been a go to ever since I was kid. A lot of great memories here. Since it's such a large zoo it's probably my favorite between this one and Lincoln Park Zoo. The zoo is great during the holiday season too. The laser light show was cool. Just make sure you go on a day that isn't... More

You will not find a better do anywhere, I promise! The parking is really easy and the grounds are beautifully kept. Animals are very much in a natural habitat and this place is absolutely huge. You can easily spend all day here. The food is surprisingly good and it is overpriced but not as much as you might think. Food... More

Been coming to this zoo since I was a child. Constant upgrading of habitats makes it seem like you can touch these marvelous creatures. Bring the kids and stay all day. So much to see and do! Each habitat provides information for what you're seeing. All proceeds benefit the care and feeding of these lovely animals. Hands on in the... More

Brookfield Zoo really is a great zoo. We live over an hour away and it is worth the journey. There are several great exhibits and extras going on at any given time. I really enjoy coming here!

This location is a shame to visit and waste of time and money. Animals are very few and the ones there look like they are not cared for properly. The carousel has such loud rock music it deters from the experience. Motor safari is a rip off with unintelligent tours and rude employees. The managers do not care about how... More
