Go on a river cruise tour with them! The Architecture Foundation is better than the other river tour companies. The guides are funny, and give real history and facts about Chicago Architecture.

This is an great way to see the architecture of Chicago. Our guide was interesting and informative with lots of information on the buildings themselves and some of the owners. It was one of the highlights of my visit to Chicago.

I suggest the walking and boat tours of the city. Like all great cities, Chicago has some of the most beautiful skyscrapers, real estate and history in it's buildings. See what activity you can join and learn about the great history of a wonderful city.

I've attended and enjoyed many architecture foundation tours. Devil in the White City, Skyline Vistas, bus tours, trolley tours and many walking tours. Open House Chicago that is scheduled every October is the greatest!

Book in advance . These tours are wonderful and the docents are informative . Take the architectural boat tour on the Chicago river if you only had time for one.

On the "Chicago's First Lady" you'll find river front properties, and learn the history behind them. Docents from the Chicago Architecture Foundation provide history and theory behind the most beautiful structures along the Chicago rivers. Wonderful for all ages, and a photographers delight!

Hello! We do not offer river cruises during January and February because the boats are removed from the river for the winter. This year, our season runs from April 1–November 19, 2017. Thank you!
