Shopping is not my priority, but we walked the Magnificent Mile when heading to John Hancock's observation deck. Apart from tons of shops, big and casual names, along the way there are several Chicago landmarks like the Wrigley and Tribune towers, the old water tower...More

If you don't want to shop don't go, because if so, you'd finish shopping anyway. It is a big avenue with amazing brands

We didn't have an opportunity to go shopping, we only walked it on our way to the Hancock Tower and to dinner. They have many restaurant options and shopping options. Very crowded at night.

The magnificent mile is full of various activities. Shopping in plentiful. Millennium Park is near by. The skydeck is in the area. There is no shortage of options for you if you stay in the magnificent mile area.

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
