Macy's on State Street is a unique shopping experience. It is a huge shopping area split into several floors. It is good to visit the Macy for the shopping.

Enjoyed checking out this Macy’s on State Street’s Christmas decorations. I particularly enjoyed the trumpets on the exterior. As for the store itself, I’m not a huge fan.

Enjoyed riding the escalators and viewing the architecture. The large Christmas tree was fun to view from the 8th floor. Definitely a festive place to visit the week before Christmas.

If you want quantity of items to browse through for gifts for yourself or others, this is the place. The small cafe was a good break also.

Yet another degrading of a Chicago Institution. Macy's has Lowered the the iconic standards of Marshal Fields by turning this once wonderful store into a typical retail experience.
