We visited this museum recently with our 7 year old granddaughter on a Saturday morning. It was very, very crowded. LOTS of strollers parked everywhere. The quarters are somewhat cramped, particularly with so many strollers all around. Although our granddaughter likes "childrens" places (museums, etc),...More

We went on a Thursday evening, so admission was free. Parking was pricey because you have to park in the pier parking which is 28 dollars no matter how long you stay. The museum itself was awesome. My son loved it. I️ wish we had...More

What a lovely place! My kids enjoyed every second there! I was so happy too! I could not imagine how is everything amazing there! So well made for kids fun. Bring your children there and just let them ‘live real life’ in that little World....More

First and foremost: the target audience are classes or families with young kids (2-12). The exhibits are both interactive and interesting. We typically go into children's museum's because they tend to have more interactive and immersive exhibits than a standard natural history/science museum. This one...More

We were a bit hesitant to spend $15 per person not knowing with there were many attractions suitable for an almost 2 year old! The museum exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful stop on an unexpectedly HOT day!!! The real highlight, though, was the...More

This museum is filled with hands on activities: water play, a grocery store, digging for dinosaur bones, building materials to accomplish a given task under supervision, free building, acting as a firefighter, just to name a few. It's not geared for children age nine or...More

Very great experience, and very memorable. My kids still had very fond memories of this place, even after we fly away thousands of miles from Chicago to Jakarta. The price is very worth it.

My 23 month old daughter had a great time and really enjoyed herself. Not sure if older kids (7-8+) would have their interest kept for too long but for younger kids it's a great spot. In Navy Pier.

old, young or just want to be a kid, this is a great hands on teaching place for kids, but as an adult I've enjoyed taking my family here

Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy
Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of
restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities.
You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as

I think 2-3 hours is plenty of time. Especially with the older kids, they move through activities faster than toddlers. I think we were there an hour and a half with our 3 year old and we ended up cajoling her to leave. The... More

There is also a big room where you can park the stroller/gear. It's not supervised/locked if that matters to you. Keep in mind also that the staff can/will grab your stroller and put it in this big room if there are too... More
