Trains, poinsettia's, winter villages, and holiday cheer. Walking through a tropical paradise, winding paths and places to sit and reflect. A beautiful place to escape the winter cold and indulge in the tropics of the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

This is great spot to visit if you're also taking a trip to the neighboring Lincoln Park Zoo. It's also wonderful in the winter time. You walk in and are immediately wrapped in warmth and humidity. The orchid and fern rooms are my favorite, but the seasonal room is also generally very cool. I would recommend walking over to the... More

We enjoyed walking through the conservatory and taking in the breathing taking displays of plants. Volunteers are on hand to offer information.

I absolutely love the Lincoln Park Conservatory. It is located near the north end of the Lincoln Park Zoo and I feel like it is often overlooked. They have a beautiful room full of colorful orchids and the air in there is so fresh and clean! It is a great spot to take photos and appreciate nature. In the winter,... More

Great displays, and considering that it's free, don't waste your time at the conservatory in Evanston, if it's winter. Wonderful exotic plants and engaging docents

Best for adults but with kids, they do not enjoy this as much. This is located in a separate building at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

I very much enjoy going to this conservatory, you get to learn a lot of new things about different plants, you can sit on the bench and relax among the plants, and best of all it's free to the public.

Visiting in December it is a bit chilly. Right next to the zoo. Like the fact they have signs that say "look", "smell". Try not to miss any. Don't forget it is free
