The music was great. We really enjoyed the bands. Reminded my of the local bands that play at home in New Orleans. The food was good; we ordered jerk chicken and loaded fries. The drinks were strong and priced cheap. Only complaint is that we had to move from room to room as the bands ended their sets.

If you are a blues fan, I would recommend this place. There are 2 stages and they alternate between them so you aren't packed in one spot the whole time. The music sounds great. Beer wasn't too expensive. I had an IPA for under $6. When we got there the line was really long (it moves quick) even though it... More

We walked to Kingston Mines on a very cold Saturday night, and arrived mid-way thru the first set...which was awesome. The performers toggle back and forth between two stages so you can move with them, or if you have a coveted seat (like we did), you stay put and enjoy some good food in between. I recommend the wings. Drinks... More

As a hardcore blues music fan I wanted to visit this place and the experience was unforgettable. The atmosphere is electric, the musicians are on top playing their own songs or covers (Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Led Zeppelin). If you're in Chicago, well this is THE blues temple!

I almost hate to say how incredible this place is for fear it will somehow change. From the location, the cover charge, the friendly servers, the fantastic soul food to the authentic bands...This place is the real deal. Get there early to grab a table in the front on the right, get in line for food, enjoy their delicious shrimp... More

With two stages, you literally get to enjoy non-stop entertainment all night. This is authentic Chicago Blues. It's great! The staff is friendly, the beer is cold and the music is wonderful.

I have been here many times before, and every time I have a total blast! The service is fantastic, and the live Blues bands that rotate between 2 stages, are by far the greatest in Chicago! This place is always packed at night, so get there early if you want a seat. They also have lots of space to dance... More
