Visited last week. What a surprise inside - original back to 1887. Excellent tour of the home and understanding of the time in which it thrived. Actually too much to see in one tour. I will return to tour it again.

Wonderful tour of a masterpiece of American architecture. The house is a fascinating study of a late 19th century family, and the building is intriguing. The museum has removed the stanchions and has allowed visitors to truly experience the spaces.

The outside of this house looks like a fortress, but the inside showcases a very interesting house and history. Tour was well done and well worth it! Free on Wednesdays!
