I have attended several conventions here. The location is perfect for this. Always clean and it is huge!

Very nice modern convention center. Plenty of Bathrooms but make sure you wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking a lot. No good food, Starbucks packed with a line of 17 people throughout the shows. Nothing healthy to eat.

Great staff. Louise at the front desk is extremely helpful and accommodating with my complex multi-room reservations. Professionalism and dedication to guest service is very high.

I have no complaint about the facility itself, it is very nice. But it is not within decent walking distance of hotels (save for the Hyatt) or good restaurants. It is not near "the action" of Chicago - that you will find is closer to...More

McCormick Place is a fantastic convention center. With spacious, well-organized, conference halls, and with restaurants in, and around the area, our conference stay was excellent. Combined with shuttle service to many hotels throughout Chicago, our entire stay was perfect.

South Loop
This downtown neighborhood offers a variety of
activities ranging from cultural to sporting. If you
happen to visit during football season, you may bump
into a boisterous few fans on their way to a Bears
game on the southernmost tip of South Loop. On the
flip side, Museum Campus offers cultural and
educational experiences in its planetarium, museum and
aquarium, all situated along the lakefront. Grant Park

We used the bus. It was cheaper to leave the car in the parking garage there and use the bus system to get around. It was maybe $2 a person to use the bus. The pick up area is directly in front and there are maps so you can... More
