We came to visit Dervish at this smaller venue. We sat in the balcony and the view was great. It was not a giant place where it gets overwhelming, but you oftentimes get to meet the performers.

Really unique performances--from classic folk rock to world music--in an intimate venue. Not expensive. Room to dance. Beer and snacks. Plus you can take classes, too! Unique.

The venue is ran by music lovers. I think most of the people running the place are volunteers and are thrilled to be there. There is not a bad seat in the house. I wish I lived closer so I could go to more shows.

The school of folk music offers regular concerts. Some are worthwhile, and some have very good performers. John McCutcheon, Tom Paxton, and other greats from the folk era of the 60s and 70s still perform. What's more, they can still song! Last Saturday's performance with...More
