Very nice park for walking and sight seeing. Better in summer and fall. Will return to the park when the weather is better.

A well kept secret. Great park. Good trails. Nice shelters. Village is neat. The old church is the perfect place for a wedding. A lot of wild life to watch and the educational center is very nice. Glad it’s in our community

I have fished and hiked this park for many years. I got to go to the new education building while taking the Master Naturalist class through the U of I. A great facility. We were studying aquatic life in the river there. Found many species...More

We have our Family reunions at the Barn or Hideaway every year and we all have a great time. Nice to be out in the park and lots of things to see.

It's hard to believe this is only a county park! There are so many wonderful trails to explore. Plus the Bunker Hill Historic Village is a treasure in itself.

Great for easy nature hiking or walking, Beautiful venue for weddings, showers, parties, photograhy. Poor cell service. Many fun events throughout the year,

We always enjoy visiting with family for reunions. They have such a quaint village area created from actual historical buildings. I think it is very important to preserve these types of buildings and allow the youth to learn about local history.

I didn't even see a playground. It looked like a field of dead grass with a small, mossy pond. It felt like we drove forever and saw nothing.

You must go to the office and put your name in. They have a list and if the date you request is open fine. Make the payment. If not then they will call if it becomes open
