We took our two boys here, ages 4 & 7 and they had a great time! I love that the adults get in free! All the rides are carefully made for just little kids, which means parents don't ride with them. We appreciated the covered areas for lines, and numerous benches for the adults to sit on. Even though the... More

This place is adorable. So much fun for the little ones. Age appropriate rides and exhibits for kids 2-8. Pirates Cove has been open for a generation or more and the lovely village of Elk Grove keeps it clean and always improving. Food is decent and the entertainment with plays, dancing and singing is great. Check it out.

We came to Pirate's Cove to let our children ride the carousel. The price was reasonable. There aren't a lot of things to do, but the things they have are very entertaining for children. Ours enjoyed the paddle boats tremendously. The carousel is a metal Allan Herschell kiddie carousel from the 1950's - our 10 year old found she could... More

Went today with a couple of friends and their little ones. It was a great place for the kids to play, without worrying they would get hurt or were too small for the attractions. This is aimed at the 3-6 year old group, although we saw both older and younger kids enjoying themselves. I have 3 year old twin boys,... More

It was a nice day, so why not take the four grandkids to an outdoor theme park. Off we went with a 10 yr. old, two 3 yr. olds and an 11 month old. Pirate's Cove is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The admission price is reasonable and adults are free. Everything is designed for younger kids,... More

there are just a few items to play, but already enough for young kids, and they can play them again and again, as it's not too big, so you can easily walk from one place to another, not very tired. you can spend half day there for the kids, it's good that adult is free, so you just play for... We took our 4 1/2 year old here thinking we would kill an hour or two. Turns out he loved it so much we were there for four hours. All the attractions are perfect for little kids. Admission was only $12 for non resident and they don't charge for adults. This park district has it all figured out. This park... More

This is a fun little amusement park with a pirate theme for young children. We went the first time when our son was 3. It was busy so the lines were hard for him, but manageable because it was small and had a combination of rides, playground and it even has a cute little craft area under a ship. They... More
