We visited Loch Navar Forest Park last week on recommendation! It was amazing, unfortunately it was a rather dull misty day, however the magic was there. You wind your way up through the forest trail, passing beautiful trees, abundant wildlife and two thirds of the way a magnificent view. Carry on right to the top and the view is breathtaking.... This has to be one of the best views I have ever seen. You can see the whole of lough Erne. On a clear day you can see the sea and Donegal beach. Well worth a visit

We parked down the bottom and walked up...it was tough going (the dogs where knackered!) but the views where so worth it! Ironically later that day we done the Lough Navar Forest Drive and ended up at the viewpoint in the vehicle...so could have enjoyed the view without the walking up hill but still all good exercise ;) Definetely recommended... We took the walk up from the car park at the lower side of the Loch - my goodness - it was soooo steep, 370-odd steps, but take it easy and you will be speechless with the view from the top (if it's a clear day!).It tool about 30 mins to get to the top with a 9 and 11... More

Lovely spot for nice walks in the forest, there is also a panoramic terrace with tables where we had a BBQ. Lovely place, very recommended.

You begin this beautiful scenic drive through an atmospheric forest. Part way to the top is a scenic overlook with a picnic table. It is worth a stop--and even a picnic! Once you reach the main overlook, it is absolutely stunning! There are walking trails throughout the park if you're so inclined. We have brought many visitors here and they... More

Be it windy, raining, hailstones, bazing sun, day or night; this place always looks good. Attempted the walk the other day, got down about.. 4 flights of stairs, gave up. Would advise others to wear appropriate footwear and pace yourself. Best of all, it's FREE.

We drove out here on the recommendation of a local and were really impressed with the views of Lough Erne below you and the Atlantic Ocean and hills of Donegal in the distance. Well worth the detour to see.
