Such a beautiful park. It is quite large but you can drive everywhere. Park has a large waterfall, ducks, playgrounds, picnic groves, and paved trails.

Such a great park. There is no much to do and see at this park, I'm surprised they don't charge admission. We road the pedal boats, walked the paved trails and checked out the water fall. However, there was so much more than that. A person could easily spend the entire afternoon there

We had our girls weekend and had a good time over at Krape park on the paddle boats. But it was a little on the pricey side for what it was... but there are lots of things to do here!

Great place to go Ground or be in nature. My favorite place was at the top by the waterfall. Beautiful scenery. Safe park area if you have kids that want to play. Feeding the ducks is a experience. My granddaughter loves the merry go round

Best park by far. They have extensive trails throughout the park....lots of benches and seating. The duck pond, the dam, the waterfall and the caves are all highlights of this gorgeous park

We loved being here in the fall and seeing the changing colors.
There are a couple of different driving loops through the park.
There's hiking and biking trails however there are lots of hills.... So electric assist bicycle is the way to go.
Beautiful man-made waterfall, bridges, several playgrounds, sculpture garden, and bathroom facilities.
I would love to go back in the summer and actually do some of the mini golfing and kayaking

I first visited Krape park back in the 80's as a kid and when we want back to Illinois to visit family in 2020 it was great to see my kid enjoy the park like I had. Lots of things to do and conveniently located in town.

Well laid out and maintained park. Either my wife or myself have visited the park for years even while living in other parts of the country.

Hiking trails surrounding hilly park with stream running through it. Great waterfall on west end of park. Amphitheater features live entertainment for free on many summer weekends including an excellent traditional Independence Day celebration complete with cannons. Disc golf, mini golf, baseball fields and a brand new carousel. Bring bug spray for gnats in late May-June and mosquitoes most of summer. Otherwise, enjoy.

No true trails, but lots of paved road that wanders throughout the park. Yellow Creek runs through the park and there is plenty of wandering to do on both sides.

Is krape park worth a 1.5 hour drive from a Chicago suburb? We will be driving with 2 toddlers.

This is my "hometown", so much time was been spent in this park. I was recently home in May for a visit. Spent the entire day with family .... adults down to 3 years old .... never ran out of things to do.

Do you allow dogs? We have family members who have a life threatening allergy to dog dander.
